In a dishwashing machine having at least one dishes basket (2, 2') capable of being pushed into a washing container (1) and having a spray arm (6, 6') which is rotatably arranged below said dishes basket and is mounted, mechanically independently of the dishes baskets (2, 2') on a liquid supply line (11, 11') which leads out from a wall of the machine, is connected to a circulating pump and projects substantially horizontally into the washing container, the spray arm (6, 6') being supported and fixed with its liquid supply line (11, 11') in or against the bottom (8, 8') of the dishes basket, in order to provide in a simple way a guide for the spray arm (6, 6') and the liquid supply line (11, 11') which is less expensive and with which damage to the dishes basket (2, 2') is avoided, the liquid supply line (11, 11') projects freely into the washing container (1) in a manner uninfluenced by the dishes basket (2, 2'), at least when the latter is partially pulled out, and the liquid supply line (11, 11') is grasped and guided when the dishes basket (2, 2') is pushed into its limit position. <IMAGE>
