The application relates to a method for the determination of an enzyme, from a mixture of isoenzymes in a liquid sample, by inhibition of the interfering isoenzymes and determination of the non-inhibited enzyme, which is characterised in that the mixture of isoenzymes is contacted with one or more substances which are able to inhibit the interfering isoenzymes, the sample containing the inhibiting substance(s) is transferred into a narrow-pore reaction medium, and the interfering enzyme is inhibited there, and the non-inhibited enzyme in the resulting liquid is determined.
