This device is an electronic immobiliser device for a vehicle (Figure 1) which is in the form of a printed-circuit-board electronic central unit (1), a transmitter and receiver antenna (2), a connecting cable (3), an indicator light (4), an acoustic vibrator (5) and a self-powered integrated circuit (6). The device simultaneously locks two elements chosen from those which are indispensable to starting the vehicle, so long as the code of the integrated circuit (6) has not been recognised by the printed circuit (1). Application to protecting vehicles against theft.
