The outdoor luminaire is assembled according to a modular system from a plurality of components. In this case, a multipart, partially translucent, rotationally symmetrical housing, which is constructed as a bipartite light-transmitting trough (2) and is provided between the two trough parts (2a, 2b) with a light-proof, annular screen (3), is arranged about a central electrical assembly (1) having a lamp holder (1a). Its said screen optionally has various shapes (screen 3 or 3''), and can also, if necessary, be assigned subsequently to the housing. The particular screen (3 or 3'') is merely inserted between the larger, lower trough part (2a) for the actual task of illumination and the lower, upper trough part (2b) as secondary light for picking out shapes at night. In conjunction with the trough parts (2a, 2b), the screen (3 or 3'') is held stacked above a mounting post plate (1e), and held on the electrical assembly (1) by means of a sealing screw (4). <IMAGE> |
