<p>PURPOSE:To provide a garbage treating machine which utilizes culture base materials, such as sawdust, and is capable of measuring the life of the culture base materials by means of a sensor without relaying on users' perception unlike heretofore. CONSTITUTION:This garbage treating machine is constituted to decompose the crude refuse and to reduce its weight by the effect of aerobic bacteria by putting the culture base materials 3 and the aerobic bacteria into a crude refuse treating tank 1 having agitating vanes 2 and a ventilator, charging the crude refuse therein and agitating the crude refuse. The garbage treating machine is provided with means for detecting the life of the culture base materials 3 in the crude refuse treating tank 1 when the change in the rotating power required for rotating the agitating vanes 2 exceeds the preset certain threshold value.</p> |
