PURPOSE:To uniformize coloring by a method wherein a surface of a colored styrene- based resin foam molded product is subjected to an image processing in a specific tone to measure the luminance, and a value of a difference between average luminences of a light color side and a dense color side, when a mean luminance value is taken as a threshold, the part under the threshold is taken as a dark color side, and the part over the threshold is taken as a light color side, is made to have the tone of a specific value or under. CONSTITUTION:A resin composition containing styrene-based resin, coloring agent, foaming agent, surface foam-breaking agent, is melted by heating in an extruder, cooled, and chopped to make a pelletized particle. Then, it is foamed in a mold to make a colored styrene based foam molded product. A surface of the molded product is subjected to an image processing by 256 scales with an image former to measure luminance.
