<p>PURPOSE:To provide a water-base printing ink composition which can adhere to a (non)polar film to form a print improved in heat resistance, blocking resistance, gloss, water resistance, etc. CONSTITUTION:1-30wt.% carbonyl-containing unsaturated monomer is polymerized with 99-70wt.% copolymerizable unsaturated monomer mixture comprising 0-40wt.% unsaturated monomer having a salt-forming group or a polyoxyalkylene group and other unsaturated monomers in the presence of a radical polymerization initiator, the reaction product is optionally neutralized, and the solvent of the mixture is replaced by water to obtain a water-based acrylic resin. This resin is mixed with a hydrazine derivative having at least two hydrazide groups in the molecule in an amount to give 0.05-3.0 equivalents of the hydrazide groups per equivalent of the carbonyl groups of the resin.</p> |
