PURPOSE:To stabilize and enhance printing quality by providing the plate cylinder arranged so as to be positioned on the upper side of printing piper at the time of the painting to printing paper, the impression cylinder arranged in opposed relation to the plate cylinder so as to be positioned on the under side of the printing paper and an ink nozzle supplying ink to the plate cylinder. CONSTITUTION:Printing paper 1 is passed through the gap between a plate cylinder 3 and an impression cylinder 4 to perform predetermined transfer printing. In this case, since the plate cylinder 3 is positioned on the upper side of the printing paper 1, ink 5 is supplied from the ink nozzle 6 provided above the plate cylinder 3. The excessive ink 5 supplied from the ink nozzle 6 is scraped off by the doctor 7 provided under the plate cylinder 3 to pass through the gap between a doctor holder and the plate cylinder 3 and falls on the ink pan 8 provided under the doctor to be recovered. The recovered ink 5 is supplied to an ink tank and circulated through a pipe and an opening and closing valve by a pump to be returned to the ink nozzle 6. At the time of the replacement of the plate cylinder 3, the opening and closing valve between the ink tank and the ink nozzle 6 is closed to replace the plate cylinder 3. |
