摘要 PURPOSE:To employ one mold, with which both vacuum molding and urethane molding are possible and, at the same time, the preheating process before vacuum molding is made unnecessary, and consequently reduce the mold cost and the number of processes and contrive to lower the production cost of the molded article integral with skin concerned by a method wherein skin material, which fully satisfies shaping properties even at urethane molding temperature, and urethane base material, which can withstand the residual stress developed by the stretching of the skin material after vacuum molding, are employed. CONSTITUTION:After skin material 2 made of synthetic resin, which has the modulus at 30% of 0.1-2.0kg/cm at urethane molding temperature is arranged in a vacuum-moldable and urethane-moldable mold (or a first mold 3), which is controlled so as to have the urethane molding temperature, the skin material 2 is brough into close contact with a first cavity surface 31 by vacuumizing so as form the skin material into the predetermined shape. Liquid urethane stock, which turns into urethane base material 1 after molding having the maximum flexural load of 30N or larger, is poured into the cavity of the mold and then solidified, producing urethane base material 1 integrally molded with the skin material 2.
