In a pressure indicating device a coiled Bourdon helically coiled tube 72 contained in a closed chamber formed by members 54, 56 is attached at one end to the wall of the chamber member 54 and at the other end carries a bar magnet 86 the free end of which moves in a slot in the end-wall of the chamber member 56 and the arrangement is such that the tube 72 is deflected, when subjected externally to a pressure through a restricted passage 66, to move the end of the magnet 86 in the slot to cause rotation of a disc magnet 24 mounted on a spindle 114 and frictionally attached to a pointer 26. The bracket 112 carrying the pointer 26 is slidably mounted to enable the range of movement of the pointer 26 to be adjusted. |
