<p>An abrasive article (10) having a sheet-like structure (19) having a major surface (13) and having deployed in a fixed position thereon a plurality of abutting abrasive composites (11, 12) in an area spacing of at least 1,200 composites/cm2, each of the composites (11, 12) comprising a plurality of abrasive particles (14) dispersed in a binder (15). The invention also relates to a method for reducing a surface finish of a workpiece surface using the abrasive article (10) and a process for making the abrasive article (10) of the invention.</p> |
