GROWTH FACTOR HETERODIMERS

Heterodimeric neurotrophins are prepared by mixing two homodimeric neurotrophins, subjecting the mixture to dissociation conditions, and allowing reassociation to occur so that heterodimers are formed. The heterodimers can be purified and isolated. The heterodimers are useful in the treatment of damage to the nervous system.
