The input power of the induction motor varied by the load condition is controlled so that the unnecessary power consumption in the motor with light load can be prevented. The circuit includes a power supply (1) for supplying the rectified DC voltage, a switching circuit (3) for regulating the load power, a load detector (2) for generating the pulse signal according the output power of a motor, a load capacity controller (6) for selecting the loads (Ra,Rb) according the output signal of an output power detector (2), a minimum load detector (8) for controlling a soft start circuit (9) according the load capacity controller, a PWM circuit (10) for switching the input power according the load applied the the motor, and an overload detector (7) for generating the over-load signal. |
