PURPOSE:To provide an instrument to enable easy measuring of the weight of the body fat of a person with minimal constraints on the measurement condition and without being affected by the measurement condition. CONSTITUTION:With the instrument for measuring the weight of the body fat on the basis of an estimated body density, the impedance between the both tips of the body is measured and, from the measured impedance values, height and weight of the body, a body density is is estimated according to a formula which is provided with a correction termeither related to the impedance only causing an increase in the body density corresponding to an increase in the impedance value or related to the body weight only causing a decrease in the body density corresponding to an increase in the body weight. |
