PURPOSE:To provide a concrete product low in bulk density and high in compressive strength. CONSTITUTION:The lightweight concrete product 0.35-1.2 in CaO/SiO2mol ratio, composed mainly of tobermolite and calcium silicate, <=100mum in narrow pore diameter, 35-70% in narrow pore volume, 0.7-1.5 in bulk density and >=200kg/cm<2> in compressive strength is obtained by combining 6-20wt.% cement in the total solid matter, equal to above l00wt.%-5X(cement wt.%)=Ywt.% quick lime in quick lime and slaked lime or quick lime calculated in the terms of CaO and a silica rock powder in the range of 0.35-1.2 CaO/SiO2mol ratio, adding 50-80 pts.wt. water per 100 pts.wt. combined powder and mixing to form a slurry containing no foaming agent, pouring the slurry into a molding flask to harden and aging the hardened body with the steam of high pressure and high temp. |
