PURPOSE:To enable projection of a cubic display in a space, by providing a cubic reflecting surface, formed by laminating a finely rugged surface and a transparent reflection film, on a transparent resin. CONSTITUTION:An incident light from above is scattered by a scattering mem ber 5 and projected into a display element via a circuit block 4. The light passing through a liquid crystal element 3 presenting white on the background of blue reaches a reflection surface 1a of a reflecting member 1. As the transpar ent resin surface 1a is made up of a spherical cubic surface having a reflection film acting as half mirror laminated in more than one layers and a finely rugged surface, the incident light is reflected in a random direction to form a virtual image along with a broader view. Furthermore, as the circumference of the member 1 has a color the same as that of the background of the element 3, a display is made in such a manner that only white on the segment is projected in a space. This enables projection of a white display of a segment cubically in a space. |
