An auxiliary bar 8, Fig. 1, to be clipped over suspension bars (20, Fig. 4) is made of plastics and comprises a continuous limb 9 depending from a web 11 and associated with three spaced tongues 10, the limb 9 being further associated with spaced projections 13 which are passed through slots (22, Fig. 4) in the edge of a suspension filing folder (17) to engage the lower edge of the suspension bar. The web 11 is provided with an inclined flange 12 for supporting a label which may be covered by a plastics strip and the limb 9 may be provided with holes 16 opposite the tongues 10 so that the folder edge may be provided with index legends which are visible through the holes 16. In another embodiment in which the bar 8 is intended to clip top edges 19, Fig. 8, of a concertina filing folder assembly, the bar 8 is provided with further, oppositely disposed tongues 28. |
