PURPOSE:To efficiently form a resin felt high in quality by nipping and carrying a freece comprising the mixture lamellar product of fibers with a resin between endless smooth surfaces, simultaneously thermally curing the surface parts of the freece, subsequently nipping and carrying the product between endless air-permeable holding surfaces, and simultaneously thermally curing the central part of the freece. CONSTITUTION:A freece 2 comprising the mixture lamellar product of fibers with the resin mixture powder of a thermoplastic resin/a thermosetting resin is nipped and carried between the non-porous smooth surfaces 3 of a pair of upper and lower endless conveyers, and simultaneously blown with hot air from air nozzles 3A to thermally cure the resins in the surface layers of the freece 2. The treated freece is subsequently guided, nipped and carried between the air-permeable holding surfaces 6 of a pair of upper and lower endless net conveyers, and simultaneously blown with hot air penetrating the holding surfaces 6 from air nozzles 6A to thermally cure the central part of the freece 2. The treated freece is guided into a pressing and cooling device 7 or an air-permeating and cooling device 8 to obtain the cooled rigid or flexible resin felt 1. |
