ELECTRIC DOUBLE LAYERED CAPACITOR AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PURPOSE:To provide an electric double layered capacitor of high reliability which has a high decomposition voltage, small internal resistance and leaks no solution. CONSTITUTION:Mixed members 1, 2 of phenol-based active carbon particles turning to polarizable electrodes and rubber type ion conducting electrolyte 5 are arranged so as to face each other via the rubber type ion conducting electrolyte 5 composed of natural rubber/tetraethyl ammonium perchlorate/ propylene carbonate. The upper member (sealing plate) 6 of casing and the lower member (case) 7 are caulked and sealed via a packing 8 made of propylene.
