The plate comprises: (a) a porous component; (b) fluoro polymer film(s); and (c) a graphite plate laminated to (a) via (b); and an electroconductive pathway existing between (a) and (c), while the fluoro polymer provides an electrolyte barrier. Also new is an improved fuel cell stack incorporating the above. The porous component may be pref. an electrolyte reservoir plate or a graphite cooler holder. Pref. fluoro polymer films are of fluorinated ethylene propylene resin and/or TFE copolymers. |
