PURPOSE:To enhance the printing quality by eliminating printing distortion caused by the unevenness of a printing surface in the printing using an ink jet printing apparatus having a nozzle unit emitting an ink liquid droplet, a charge electrode charging the ink liquid droplet and a deflection electrode deflecting the flying direction of the ink liquid droplet corresponding to the charge level of the ink liquid droplet. CONSTITUTION:In a correction circuit 26, the printing data from a printing pattern generating circuit 10 is corrected corresponding to the distance data between a nozzle and an object to be printed from a laser displacement meter 40 and the charge voltage corresponding to the corrected printing data is applied to a charge electrode 8 from a charge circuit 9 to variably control the charge level of an ink liquid droplet A, in its turn, the flying direction of the ink liquid droplet A corresponding to the unevenness of printing paper B. |
