PRODUCTION OF FINE VINYL CHLORIDE RESIN POWDER

摘要

PURPOSE:To produce a fine vinyl chloride resin powder with an average particle size of 0. 5-2.0mum by subjecting a vinyl chloride resin powder with an average particle size of 30-200mum to breaking by mechanical shear at relatively low temp. and shear stress for a short time. CONSTITUTION:A fine vinyl chloride resin powder with an average particle size of 0.5-2.0mum is produced by subjecting a vinyl chloride resin powder produced by the aq. suspension method and having a degree of polymn. of 500-1, 500 and an average particle size of 30-200mum to breaking by mechanical shear at a resin temp. of 90-150 deg.C under a compression ratio of 20-300% and a shear stress of 0.5X10<8>-5.0X10<8>dyn/cm<2> for 1-30sec.
