PURPOSE:To register purchased merchandise similarly to sold merchandise at the time of sales work, in which a registration mode is set, by registering merchandise data on a registration processing means and subtracting the price of purchase by a subtraction registering means when these merchandise data of purchased merchandise are set to a merchandise file. CONSTITUTION:At an electronic cash register 1, a purchase setting means to set the merchandise data of purchased merchandise in the registration mode operating the registration processing means such as a CPU 2 with a mode switching means such as a key switch 6 is composed of a CPU 2 and a keyboard 7 or the like. Further, the subtraction registering means to subtract the price of purchase by automatically registering the merchandise data to be set to the merchandise file with the purchase setting means such as the CPU 2 is formed by the CPU 2 and the like. Thus, in the state of subtracting the price of purchase, the electronic cash register 1 is turned to the state of registering the merchandise data of the purchased merchandise and the CPU 2 executes normal registration processing including purchaser processing as one part afterwards. |
