In the case of a pair of scissors, especially hair-cutting scissors, having two scissor blades (1, 2) which are articulatedly connected to one another by means of a single joint (3) and two scissor handles (4, 5), each of which has two handle parts (28, 29) and/or (30, 31), the first handle part (28, 30) being connected to an assigned scissor blade (1, 2) and the second handle part (29, 31) including the holding end of the scissor handle (4 and/or 5) and the two respective handle parts being articulatedly connected to one another to permit pivoting in the handle plane, provision is made, to permit optimum ergonomic adaptation, for the two handle parts to be capable of being locked in different angular positions with respect to one another and for the locking to be carried out in the articulatory connection of the handle part. <IMAGE>
