<p>PURPOSE: To provide a system for converting the gesture of a user for identifying a user selected object in an image. CONSTITUTION: A data input 80 is used for deriving an (x)-(y) position 82, orientation 84, aspect rate 88, and arbitrary additional parameter 90 for defining a pause description vector 92 indicating an object, and this pause description vector defines a first characteristic descriptor stored in a position 94 by each picture object, and defines a second characteristic descriptor stored in a position 96 by each user selected gesture. An analyzing performance 98 is executed between a graphical object defined for deciding a reliable level for deciding an object most satisfactorily matched with the user selected gesture and the user selected gesture, and thus a selected object 100 is defined.</p> |
