<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of a cable by outputting serial data from the main body of the information input device and suppressing the conductors for data transmission of the cable into one conductor. CONSTITUTION:Parallel data outputted from a parallel data generating means 16 are inputted to a parallel/serial(P/S) converting circuit 4, and ID information required for identifying mouse data outputted from an ID information generator 5 is inputted to the PUS converting circuit 4. On the other hand, a clock for transmission so as to transmit the bits of serial data outputted from a clock for transmission generator 6 one by one is inputted to the P/S converting circuit 4, and the parallel data are converted to serial data by the P/S converting circuit 4 with power supply from a battery 8 and transmitted by a cable 17. Then, the serial data are outputted from the main body of a mouse. Thus, by providing the battery 8, the number of conductors can be suppressed into one.</p> |
