摘要

PURPOSE: To reduce the dependency of the lithographic property of a printing plate obtd. by a DTR process using a meso-ionic compd. during development on the exhaustion of an alkaline processing soln. CONSTITUTION: An image forming element with a silver halide emulsion layer and a layer contg. physical developing nuclei on the substrate is imagewise exposed and developed with an alkaline processing soln. in the presence of a meso-ionic compd. and a developer to produce the objective lithographic printing plate. The image forming element contains silver halide by <=1.3g/m<2> (expressed in terms of AgNO3 ).
