<p>PURPOSE: To allow a user to operate many general tasks by a fewer operations. CONSTITUTION: This method is related with a user interface technique to be executed in a device environment controlled by a processor for executing a program for processing a set of element data, and displaying the visible indicator. This system generates the visible display of a movable sheet having many framed areas (active areas), responds to a first set of signals for placing this sheet for the visible indicator, responds to a second set of signals to which position information (normally, cursor position) related with the sheet and the indicator is applied, and generates a third set of signals to the program. The third set of signals depend on the relative position of the sheet and the indicator and the position information applied to the second set of signals. The framed areas can be considered as a click through tool, and also called so.</p> |
