<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the tension of a sheet from varying caused by the increase or decrease in the tension of a rope by providing a linear motor to drive a loop car device and a circuit for controlling the drive of loop car move the loop car so that its output keeps a preset torque value. CONSTITUTION:A linear motor 7 generates a fixed torque so as to keep the tension of a steel sheet 3 between bridle 4 of inlet side and bridle 5 of rolling mill equipment constant in a loop car device 8. Because the linear motor 7 directly drives the loop car device without intercening through rope, the movement of the loop car caused by the acceleration or deceleration of an inlet side, a part of rolling mill or a part for treating the steel sheet is directly transmitted to the linear motor and the linear motor 7 generates a fixed tension, the fluctuation of tension of the steel sheet inside the loop car 8 is not generated. In such a way, the fluctuation of tension caused by the acceleration or deceleration in the part of rolling mill or the part for treating steel sheet is not generated, the quality can be improved and the yield can be improved.</p> |
