In order to provide a metal grating for producing air conditioning ceilings in buildings, having a multiplicity of supporting bars and also crossing bars which are arranged in crossing fashion with respect thereto and have pipes which are integrally formed at their boundary edge which is at the top in the desired installation position, and through which cooling or heating medium can flow, the supporting bars having in the crossing regions, in the desired installation position, upwardly open insertion slots and the crossing bars downwardly open insertion slots, enabling an oppositely directed comb-like insertion of the bars, in the case of which grating a firm connection between the supporting bars and the crossing bars is achieved in order to enable temperature equalisation between the bars, it is proposed that a bent material strip (4) be formed at a boundary edge of the supporting bar (1) which laterally bounds the insertion slot and begins underneath a hemispherical recess, which material strip lies against the wall of the inserted crossing bar (2) beginning beneath the pipe. <IMAGE>
