In a modular lighting system proposed in the older European Patent Application No. 90114986.4, an advantageous mounting is specified for the modules, which are inserted from below between two support rails (1) and are thus mounted with their topside, which is configured to form a support plate (8), on the free ends of the upper rail parts (2) of the support rails (1). For this purpose, the support plate (8) grips from below with its side parts (81) on the free ends of the upper rail parts (2) of the support rails (1) lugs (24) with a head-like profile, and in order to clamp the support plate (8) against these lugs (24) makes use of clamping elements (9) which are mounted on the underside of the side parts (81) with the aid of at least one locking screw (10) and engage with their edges which project out over the side parts (81) in longitudinal plug-in slots (26) of the near upper rail parts (2). <IMAGE> |
