PURPOSE:To uniformize the size of an original picture larger than previously determined recording paper size to the recording paper size to output it and to divide the picture in an easily observable state without damaging the information of the original. CONSTITUTION:This image recorder is provided with a picture reading part 101 for reading out and storing a picture to be recorded, a paper feeder (not shown) for storing and feeding recording paper of prescribed size, an image forming part 104 for forming an image on fed recording paper, an operation display part 105 for specifying the dividing position of a picture to be recorded, a picture processing part 102 for dividing the picture read out by the reading part 101 based upon the dividing position specified by the display part 105, and a picture output part 103 for outputting a picture divided by the reading part 101 to the image forming part 104 so that the divided pictures are recorded on respectively different recording paper. |
