<p>PURPOSE:To prevent erroneous data from being inputted to a tablet at the time of memo writing by using the tablet as a desk pad, and to reduce the power of the tablet during unused state, in a pen inputting device equipped with the tablet and a liquid crystal screen. CONSTITUTION:In a portable terminal equipment equipped with the transparent tablet on a liquid crystal display screen (LCD or the like) as the inputting device, a case holding the tablet is equipped with a clip 13 for interposing paper, and a sensor 15 which detects a light is provided at the lower part of the clip. Then, at the time of using the tablet as the tablet, an outside light 17 is detected by the sensor 15, a power source is supplied to the tablet, and a normal inputting operation is performed. At the time of using the tablet as the desk pad, the sensor 15 is shielded by the paper, the sensor is turned off, and the power source of the tablet is turned off, so that the erroneous input of the tablet can be prevented, and power saving can be attained.</p> |
