PURPOSE:To transfer desired signals between a target system and the main body of an emulation device without through a connector or the like by turning a microprocessor and a first memory inactive based on optional signals added from an outside and turning one of the other components active. CONSTITUTION:When an MCU is controlled to be 'a peripheral mode', from a core signal/peri signal generation circuit 10, the core signals of logical low level are outputted to a signal line 11 and the peri signals of inversely a logical high level are outputted to the signal line 12. Then, an analog switch 14 and a clocked inverter 15 are controlled to be in an open state by the peri signals and an AND gate 17 is controlled to be in the open state by the logical inverse signals of the peri signals. Further, the AND gate 18 and the AND gates 191-19n are controlled to be in a closed state by the logical inverse signals of the core signals. Thus, only a CPU 1 and a ROM 2 are controlled to be inactive and all the other components excluding the CPU 1 and the ROM 2 are controlled to be in an active state. |
