Packaging system allowing products, food products in particular, to be preserved under vacuum, even during the period of consumption. This package is in the form of a circular ring (1) screwed around the sausage skin (6) containing the product to be consumed, cooked meats, dairy products, and others, and moving by screwing (2), releasing the part to be consumed, which part, after being sliced, will be returned to the vacuum state by a cover (3) provided with an orifice (10) allowing the release of the air existing between the surface of the product and the internal part of the cover. The same packaging system may be in the form of a can having a detachable bottom supporting a packet containing the product to be consumed, the desired quantity of which will be able to be released simply by pressing on the mobile bottom of the can. This portion having been dispensed, the product remaining in the can, locked in its position by an obstacle preventing it from moving down again, will be closed hermetically by the lid provided with an orifice allowing evacuation of the air existing between the product and the internal part of the lid. <IMAGE>
