A device for assembling plates and separators into plate blocks (40) for traction, industrial and stationary batteries, has a longitudinal conveying device with devices for feeding the plates and separators from stacks (4, 5, 6) onto the longitudinal conveying device. Provided along the longitudinal conveying device are a station in which positive plates are removed, a station in which negative centre plates (50) are removed and a station in which negative end plates (49) are removed, in each case from stacks (4, 5, 6) from above, and are fed to the longitudinal conveying device. Furthermore, two stations are provided in which separators (52) are removed from stacks (13, 17) by separating devices (12, 31) and are placed on the longitudinal conveying device (10, 11, 24, 30) or plate groups (44, 34) located there, which plate groups are transported by the longitudinal conveying device in a cyclic manner to the individual stations and finally to a stacking station (47) in which the plate block (40) is formed. <IMAGE> |
