Tobacco products such as cigarettes, cigars, gigarillos, etc. shall find application in the tobacco industry. They are independent from external lighting devices and bad weather conditions. To the free end of the tobacco product (2) a capsule (1) is either built-in or fitted, which is lighted by means of a mechanical and/or chemical effect on it. The capsule transmits the combustion of the tobacco product which continues burning also after its burning out. The capsule includes substances combustible under mechanical effect and their mixtures and/or substances having great chemical affinity in the reaction between which products are separated capable of igniting another substance, element of the combustion capsule or directly the tobacco product.
