PURPOSE:To simply and accurately judge an electric wire to be inspected by increasing its illuminance. CONSTITUTION:Eight arms 111 holding an electric wire 120 to be inspected are provided on the periphery of a rotating index table 110. The arm 111 at the position A holds the electric wire 120 peeled with a sheath to a prescribed length and exposed with a core wire. When the table 110 is rotated, the electric wire 120 is conveyed to the position C, and a crimping terminal 140 is crimped by a crimping unit section 130. When the electric wire 120 is further conveyed to the position D, the fitting state of the crimping terminal 140 is inspected by an industrial television camera 20b. When polarizing filters 21d, 20d are installed at the proper relative angle to each other, the luster of a metal portion at the machining section of the electric wire 120 is eliminated. The luminous intensity of a luminaire 21b is increased by a luminous intensity adjusting means to cause a smear phenomenon in the image reception of the camera 20b, the image of the characters applied on the electric wire 120 is buried and erased in the surrounding color, and the length of the sheath section of the electric wire 120 is accurately measured. |
