The circuit provides a reset signal generator which is simplifying system and reducing cost by integrating both the circuit for performing auto reset function at power-on in a microprocessor and the circuit for detecting it at a wrong operation to generate reset signal automatically. The circuit consists of a switching block(1), controlling the operation of oscillator according to the pulse of clock signal (CL) from CPU, an oscillator (2), oscillating saw signal with constant repetitive period, comparator (3), converting the inputted saw signal (O2) into reset signal (RS) and outputting it.
