PURPOSE:To eliminate supply of supplemental humidifying water in an air conditioner and to enable a sanitary humidification to be carried out. CONSTITUTION:Drain water of an outdoor device 21 is accumulated in a drain tank 23 located at a lower part of an outdoor heat exchanger 22. The drain water is transported to an indoor device 11 through an exclusive drain tube 32 under an operation of a pump 9 and guided to a humidifying device 11 arranged in an air blowing passage placed at a downstream side of an indoor heat exchanger 4. The drain water is utilized as supplemental water for humidifying operation to enable a troublesome supplementary operation of humidifying water to be eliminated. In addition, the humidifying device 1 is composed of non-porous moisture permeating film and only water molecules are selectively permeated, resulting in that a sanitary humidification can be carried out. |
