Protective helmet combined with face mask

The invention relates to a mask/helmet combination, consisting of a helmet which has a helmet shell and an inner fitting and a face mask, the helmet and the face mask being joined together by means of a strap which is attached on the one hand to the face mask and on the other hand to the helmet. In known mask/helmet combinations, it is not guaranteed that the mask rests tightly against the face of the wearer in the desired manner. In order to solve this problem, a strap course is specified, in which the strap runs from the face mask through a deflection fastening attached to the helmet and from there again to a buckle located on the face mask, so that a more even contact pressure distribution is effected by means of a multiple-point attachment. Furthermore, a quick-acting closure for this mask/helmet combination is specified.
