PRODUCTION OF ELASTIC MOLD

PURPOSE:To uniformize the thickness and finishing of a mold even in a pointed end part to be the tip of unevenness by spreading silicone rubber to every nook and corner of a tapered part. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a master model 1 having an inverted tapered face or an acute uneven surface is coated with an elastic material 6 composed of silicone rubber and a curing agent. Air is sprayed upon the elastic material 6 applied to the inverted tapered face and in the vicinity of the uneven surface on the surface of the master model 1. The inverted tapered face and the uneven surface side on the master model 1 coated with the elastic material 6 are inverted. The elastic material 6 is cured and the cured elastic material 6 is peeled from the master model 1.
