PURPOSE:To use a reservoir for a master cylinder in common and simplify a valve structure in a braking device for changing over a first master cylinder operated by a brake pedal and a second master cylinder operated by a motor through the valve. CONSTITUTION:Oil paths LFL, LFR, LR extending from a first master cylinder Mc1 having a reservoir 2 are connected to brake calipers CFL, CFR, CRL, CRR through a simple structured switch valve 2 and oil chamber of a second master cylinder Mc2 having no reservoir. A brake is applied normally by closing a switch valve 3 to drive the second master cylinder Mc2 with a motor 7, and in failure of a control system the brake is applied by opening the switch valve 3 to drive the first master cylinder Mc1 with a brake pedal 1. |
