PURPOSE:A duct type circulator having humidifying function whereby the warm air near the ceiling is sucked in through the top end of a duct and the warm air humidified by a humidifier at the duct bottom end is blown off toward the neighborhood of the floor. CONSTITUTION:The warm air 15 collecting near the ceiling 3 during the room heating is sucked in through a vent 2 at the top end of a duct 1 by rotating a fan 7 by a motor 8. The warm air is passed through the bottom end of the duct 1, the fan 7, a motor support 6, and a filter 11 and blown off through slits 14 of a cover 13 to the neighborhood of the floor 4 in the direction of arrow 16. At this time, the filter 11 of which the lower portion is immersed in water 10 is in the wet condition due to capillary action. When the warm air passes through the filter 11, the water evaporates to humididy the warm air so that humidified warm air is effectively fed to the neighborhood of the floor. The addition of the humidifier increases the weight of the bottom portion, improving stability in installation. |
