PURPOSE:To obtain a method and a device for purging fuel battery device, which can hinder the generation of a shortage of hydrogen as a cause of corrosion of an electrode even in the case where the purge is performed at the time of finishing the operation of a fuel battery device. CONSTITUTION:At the time of purging a fuel battery device, a process system 3 and an air electrode 5 are purged first, and a potential difference between a fuel electrode 4 and the air electrode 5 is measured by a measuring sensor 12. A CPU 14 judges whether or not the measured value is reduced to a predetermined value or less, and after the potential difference is reduced to a predetermined value or less, the fuel electrode 4 is purged. |
