the regulator (1) can be gripped with a cupped hand (2), and a rotary centre (3) is located in or adjacent to the centre point of the circle formed by the cupped hand. The regulator is movable longitudinally (6) to suit different operators and has a low centre of gravity, permitting smaller dimensions for counterbalanced springs. Some or all regulating parts (4) are adjustable as to their positions. The rotary centre consists of a ball joint, permitting movement sideways and longitudinally. Over the regulator is placed an air-permeable layer (9), such as steel wool, and on top of which a textile layer, suitably replaceable. Movements of the regulator are balanced by springs. |
