<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently use a packet handler. CONSTITUTION:When receiving the line fault/congestion occurrence report of a leased line from an X.75 leased line trunk 9, an ISDN line alternate control block 13 outputs an acquisition request to a packet handler resource management block 12. This block 12 acquires an idle packet handler 5 for alternate route based on registered information. The ISDN line alternate control block 13 sends control information to the packet handler 5 acquired for alternate route and selects an ISDN trunk 6 thereafter to send a call to the alternate destination to an ISDN network 100. When a response is sent from the alternate destination to the ISDN line alternate control block 13, this block 13 controls a switch 10 to connect the packet handler 5 for alternate route and the ISDN trunk 6 and reports alternate route generation to a packet subscriber circuit 8 and terminated the alternate route generation processing to a packet terminal 7.</p> |
