<p>PURPOSE: To soften an air bag immediately after being inflated in an air bag of a passenger restraining device for car inflated automatically by a gas generator when a traffic accident occurs. CONSTITUTION: A kidney-shaped or crescent-shaped area 5 apart from an occupant side center area 3 of an air bag 1 and positioned concentrically to that area is formed of a fabric having permeability to a gas from a gas generator. By this shape and disposition of this area 5, a load capacity required for the air bag 1 is assured.</p> |
