<p>PURPOSE:To provide a picture processor in which a high speed picture processing can be realized by operating a pipe line processing by using two DSP. CONSTITUTION:A DSPa 104 operates margin addition, color space conversion, and sampling to picture data read from a picture memory 103, and when a status signal P101=P102, the DSPa 104 operates the DCT of a horizontal direction, and stores the processed picture data in a RAM 106. When the status signal P101not equal to P102, a DSPb 105 operates the DCT of a vertical direction, quantization, zigzag scan, and Huffman encoding to the picture data read from the RAM 106, and stores the obtained encoded data in a code memory 107.</p> |
