<p>PURPOSE:To compensate the fluctuation in gate-source capacities without degrading the opening rates of pixels by disposing correction capacitance lower and upper electrodes integrated with gate and source electrodes near drain bus lines of the pixels. CONSTITUTION:This liquid crystal display device has the gate bus lines 2 which are disposed on a transparent glass substrate 1, the gate electrodes 3 which are branched for each of the respective pixels from the gate bus lines 2, the correction capacitance lower electrodes 4, the drain bus lines which are disposed on insulating films 5 near the gate electrodes 3 and intersect with the gate bus lines 2 and the correction capacitance lower electrodes 10 which are connected to the source electrodes 9 and overlap partly on the correction capacitance lower electrodes 4. The correction capacitance electrodes 4, 10 are formed near the drain bus lines 7a of the pixels adjacent to the opposite sides via the thin-film transistors and pixel electrodes 11 disposed near the intersected parts of the gate bus lines 2 and the drain bus lines 7. Then, the correction capacitance electrodes 4, 10 are placed outside the apertures of the pixels and the degradation in the opening rate of the apertures of the pixels is averted.</p> |
